Workum - A long time ago during rebuilding activities of restaurant the 'Wijnberg' an old sock was found in the basement.What did this sock contain?A manuscript written in old Dutch by Uncle Lammert and Aunt Klaasje, the owners of the 'Wijnberg' centuries ago: 'To the finders of this sock. With all the species and silver, earned with honest hard work one will build a restplace for vendors and their ladies..'And so it happened...Years after the rebuilding of the restaurant one built the Guesthouse of Uncle Lammert and Aunt Klaasje, completely in their remembrance and spirit. And the apparition of Aunt Klaasje is still present in the Guesthouse.
