For more than a 100 years situated in the old part of IJmuiden (30 minutes by car from Schiphol airport and Amsterdam centre) and within walking distance of the fishing harbour, the locks and around the corner from the passenger terminal. The wide sandy beach, the dunes and the marina can be reached by car in 5 minutes. Hotel Augusta has 25 nice rooms, with all modern comforts. The hotel has been extended and renovated but the authentic style of 100 years ago has been kept.
